A Little about Me and Greenwillow Glass Leaf of 'Lorien

I have loved SCIENCE FICTION, MEDIEVAL HISTORY, ANCIENT WORLDS and MYSTICAL REALMS ever since my father dragged us downstairs to watch Star Trek in the '60's. And ever since reading J.R.R. Tolkien's 'Lord of the Rings' I have loved his world of Middle Earth , especially the ELVES .

~ About Me ~

Life is too short, there are too many places I still wish to travel and people to meet, and I don't want to waste one precious moment.

My background is in Clinical and Counseling Psychology, Paramedicine and Computer Information Systems.
I work and have worked as a Counselor for special needs and abused children, a substance abuse Therapist, a Paramedic, a Software Engineer and an Artist.
I participated in the K.C. Renaissance Festival during 14 of its earlier years of truly enjoyable, colorful, rowdy, bawdy, risqué and unforgettable walk-in theatre,
I am a member of The Society for Creative Anachronism, and I have volunteered with the Good Samaritan Project in Kansas City.

This site and all the stained glass I create is for fun, my love of Science Fiction and all realms of ancient lore, myth, fantasy and adventure.
To me, creating images in stained glass is like painting with jewels. I display them here to share with you these bits of whimsy, magick and adventure.
